Our History
The journey towards building the first female specific soccer club in Central Florida began in 2015 when Paul Robins founded First Touch Sports with 4 players. The player-centered soccer development program has grown to First Touch houses over 350 players in a variety of programs. In 2019, First Touch expanded with the creation of Winter Park FC a competitive program building on the foundation of development and good habits from the First Touch programs.
As Winter Park FC has grown, it became evident that there was a need for a girls' specific academy designed to provide high quality instruction, specialized strength and fitness programs, with a focus on the long-term development of the female soccer player. Through our network of collegiate coaches passionate about the development of the female athlete, we are excited to generate pathways to the next level for our girls. Through this vision the Winter Park Royals were born in 2021 and have debuted strongly at the competitive level in Central Florida.

WPR Set Up & StructurePlayers will be based into their group based on their age and ability either representing our Select or Premier Sides. With all players having the same opportunity through practice time and competition under the Winter Park DNA to develop as a player. With the main aim of our Program to develop the individual both technically and tactically as they progress through the Club.
